Why a canvas
A text box assumes the work is one prompt. It rarely is. Real output comes from a prompt you revise, forked into variants, with the good branch feeding a second model. A board holds that shape; a chat log loses it.
Why credits, not a subscription
Generation has a real per-run cost, so a flat monthly fee either overcharges light users or quietly throttles heavy ones. Credits are a one-time purchase that never expire: you pay for the runs you make, and an unused balance is still yours next month.

- Cost is computed on the server — never sent from the browser.
- Failed generations are refunded in full, automatically.
- The ledger is append-only, so your balance history always reconciles.
Why many models
No single provider wins at everything, and the ranking changes every few months. Keeping image and video models from several providers on one board means switching is a dropdown, not a migration — and comparing them is one run each, side by side.
What we are not building
Not a model. Not an autopilot that posts on your behalf. Clivy is the workspace between you and the models: it should make your judgement faster to apply, not replace it.
